Waves & Wags is a dog grooming business based in Stithians, Cornwall. We collect and use personal information solely to manage grooming appointments and communicate with our customers. Our contact email is waves.wags@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

When you make a booking through our website we collect your name, email address, phone number, postcode, and details about your dog (name, breed, coat type, temperament, age). We also store appointment history. If you create an account, we store a securely hashed password.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to confirm bookings, send appointment reminders by email and WhatsApp, and manage your grooming records. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except where necessary to provide the service (e.g. Google Calendar for scheduling, Meta WhatsApp Cloud API for messaging).

4. WhatsApp messaging

If you provide a phone number we may send booking confirmations and reminders via WhatsApp using the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API. You can opt out at any time by contacting us.

5. Data retention

We retain your booking records for up to 3 years for business administration purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.

6. Your rights

7. Cookies

Our website uses only essential session cookies required for the booking system to function. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
